On tap, the user will be redirected to your business card URL, where they can view all of your information. You can also add desired links to your business card so the user can save your information directly to their phone’s address book.
Near Field Communication (NFC) technology allows users to, exchange digital content, and connect electronic devices with a touch. NFC transmissions are short range (from a touch to a few centimetres) and require the devices to be in close proximity.
What devices support NFC ?
In short all devices produced after 2016 support NFC. They are also compatible with an iPhone 6 or later model
NFC is a default setting on iPhone, however it may need to be switched on for android mobile phones. Below is step by step directions to switch on NFC for Android mobile phones.
How to switch on NFC setting on an android mobile phone.
Step 1:
Open the Settings app
Step 2:
Tap Connections to open Settings
Step 3: Find NFC and contactless payments
Step 4: Tap the switch to turn NFC on
Now that NFC has been enabled on your device, you can change your settings for contactless payments.
Troubleshooting
If NFC is switched on but your card is not being read, please remove the mobile phone cover and an contents that may be in the back of the cover.
Slide your NFC card across the back of the mobile phone until the NFC chip is picked up. Hold your NFC card against NFC sensor area on the back of your phone (near the rear cameras).
